Shona Loftus D.C MMCA
Shona qualified as a McTimoney Chiropractor in 1998 and practiced at the Rose and Crown for two years before moving to work and live in Exeter.
She co-owns the Rose and Crown Clinic alongside her siblings and works here on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Charlotte Parker
BA (Hons)
Charlotte is a qualified Massage Therapist and Energy Healing Practitioner.
She studied Creative Expressive therapies at university and encourages health and well being through her sessions.
Charlotte is co-owner of the Rose and Crown Clinic alongside her siblings.
Anne Hext
BA (Hons) CHIRO
Anne first worked in the Health and Fitness industry, and specialised in remedial support for two years. As a sports enthusiast, she suffered injuries that needed chiropractic attention. This inspired her to follow her calling in chiropractic, completing five years study and gaining a first class honours degree.
Emily Van Wyk
BA (hons) CHIRO
While completing her BA in Classical Studies, Emily had a fall while out riding and needed chiropractic care. She went on to finish her degree in Classical Studies before training as a Chiropractor. Emily has a particular interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation. She enjoys all sports and continues to be a keen horse rider.
Steve Rule BSc (Hons) Chiropractor
Steven originates from Cornwall, from there he moved onto study a Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Gloucestershire in Cheltenham. His science degree led to Steven being offered a place studying Chiropractic at the McTimoney College, Oxford. He uses his own successful blend of chiropractic techniques and dry needling. He now lives in Combe Martin and enjoys taking his boat out with his family.
John Spurr
BSc(Hons) BA(Hons) MCSP
After graduating in 2001 with a degree in Philosophy, John fell in love with Exmoor and the North Devon coast. He found true inspiration in the benefit of physical therapy to counter the effects of being a keen surfer and musician. Qualification and practice in both holistic and sports massage therapy only fuelled his ambition, leading him to return to study in 2011 and gain a degree in physiotherapy. John has now settled in the area with his wife and loves surfing, photography, tennis and music

Simon King
BA Phil, MBAcC, MRCHM
Simon gained a First Class degree in Philosophy before studying Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in the mid 1980s. He set up a clinic in Exeter where he still works with his wife. He learnt to read medical Chinese at an early stage and having access to Chinese books and journals has been an important influence on his work. As well as greatly enjoying practicing he also teaches Herbal Medicine.
Tara Gibson
Reflexologist, Indian Head Massage
Tara is an extensively experienced Reflexologist of 25 years.
The aim of Reflexology is to trigger the body to rebalance itself physically and mentally. It may be beneficial for Stress/anxiety, Low energy levels. Post viral fatigue, Depression, Hormonal imbalances, Fertility, IBS and more.
Tara has found that incorporating the Hot stones into her Reflexology treatments has created a session on a deeper level. Her treatments are tailored to the client’s individual needs in a safe and confidential environment.
Tara also provides a de-stress treatment of a combination of Reflexology & Indian Head Massage.
Lyanne Motteram

Lyanne offers pain free, gentle and effective foot health treatments, offering appointments at the clinic as well as home visits. She is able to treat children right through to the elderly and enjoys the variety this job offers.
Amber Gage
Cert. T.A.S.K
As a qualified practitioner, Amber is trained to communicate directly with the body, by challenging various muscles and physically testing them. The body will always reveal any personal health insufficiencies. Amber also works from a practice based in London.

Julie Snell
BSc (hons) RSHom LCCH
Julie is a fully registered member of the Society of Homeopaths, having achieved a Licentiate from the Contemporary Collage of Homeopathy. Shen was introduced to homeopathy over 30 years ago and her interest grew until it became a way of life for her and her family.

Charlotte Yonge
PhD, DipELD.
Charlotte trained to be a teacher and Creative Journal Expressive Arts facilitator, a sort of visual self counselling approach. She has worked with an educational trust for 40 years using arts in the landscape and published a card deck and photobooks on the theme of the healing power of Nature. She believes that creative journaling is a very effective tool in solving emotional issues for both young and old.
