Chiropractic is a drug-free, non-surgical approach to healing and wellness. Chiropractic restores health and prevents injury by improving the structural integrity of the body, primarily the spine. The brain communicates with the rest of the body via the spinal cord and nervous system. When functioning perfectly, this communication is uninterrupted, and the messages go to and from the brain without interference. Our Chiropractors use a variety of techniques including McTimoney, Activator, Craniosacral, Laser and Dry Needling, to ensure you get the treatment that is best for you.

Our Chiropractors are Shona, Anne, Emily and Steve.

McTimoney Method of Chiropractic

This is a method devised to safely restore a patient's total structural integrity. It uses a low force adjustment technique suitable for all ages. Serious misalignment will often cause the body to compensate with subsequent motor adaptations and this is one of the main reason why the whole body is assessed at each treatment. McTimoney Chiropractors check and subtlely adjust bones of the skull, thorax, spine, pelvis and limbs, relieving tensions throughout the entire structure.

The aim of a course of treatment is to help the body realign itself, thereby restoring correct nerve functions, resulting in improved health. It is the gentleness of the technique and the treatment of the whole body that distinguishes the McTimoney technique from other manipulative methods.

Chiropractors who follow the McTimoney method are Shona, Anne and Emily.

Kinesiology

Syematic Kinesiology is a drug-free complementary health treatment that taps into your unique biochemistry to identify health issues and areas of imbalance in the emotional, structural, chemical and energetic realm.  Often, the root cause is not where the pain, discomfort or symptoms currently lie, therefore by looking at the whole person rather than just the symptoms, a personalised treatment is created, supported by nutritional supplements.
